


An upcoming open world action-adventure game with online elements from Pearl Abyss, the creators of Black Desert, slated for Winter 2021. The trailer for the game puts a lot more emphasis on melee weapons rather than ranged combat, but there will be bow and arrow combat in the game. An epic of desperate mercenaries and a testimony of struggle on the Pywel continent. Presumably this is a mercenary from MacDuff’s troops, whom you then play from time to time in order to experience multiplayer elements, if you want to. The game is expected to have a third-person perspective along the lines of the Shadow of Mordor games. This means that you play two characters in Crimson Desert: MacDuff, with whom you experience the single-player story, and a specially created hero who will be on the road in the multiplayer part. namely cross-platform multiplayer, including mobile devices, will continue with renewed vigour in 2020. The game is set on the continent of Pywel, a war-torn world with many different territories, cities, cultures and religions. Crimson Desert is scheduled to launch later this year, however it will have 'little impact' on the development of Black Desert Online. We do not currently have a definitive release date for the game, although it is believed that the new title will be released at some stage in 2022. Crimson Desert was originally slated to be released in 2021, however, Pearl Abyss confirmed in July 2021 that the game would be delayed.
